LATEST NEWS :: ROSCO STAYS UNTIL 2017
BSC Glasgow are delighted to announce that gifted midfielder Ross McKinnon has signed a new deal to keep him at the club until May 2017.
The 22-year-old playmaker has been a driving force in taking the team to the SFA Challenge Cup Final against Civil Service Strollers on May 23.
He joined BSC from League Two Clyde earlier this season and has laced his campaign with some superb goals, including two brilliant free-kicks in the wins over Spartans and Whitehill Welfare.
Ross, currently completing a PFA Scotland course as a fitness instructor, was keen to sort out his future ahead of the run-in.
Head coach Iain King is thrilled with the deal and he said: “Ross has the capability to be one of the most influential midfielders in the Lowland League.
“He was on a downer when he left Clyde and there is no question his fitness levels suffered after a knee injury soon after he arrived.
“Our physio Katrina Dunn did a superb job with him, though, and he is back towards his best now.
“On pure natural ability Ross is one of the best I have ever coached and the other players react to that. His commitment to BSC for the next two years is a massive boost.”
