BSC Glasgow FC are delighted to announce that a number of first team players have agreed to re-sign with the club

BSC Glasgow FC are delighted to announce that a number of first team players have agreed to re-sign with the club for the next Scottish Lowland Football League season, giving the club a huge boost ahead of our Lowland League Cup Final clash with Spartans.

Goalkeepers Stephen Barr and Joe Wilton, defenders Matt Niven and Gerard Traynor, midfielders Gary Redpath, Robbie Duncan, Arnult Bembo, Spencer Brown, and striker Robert Jones have all signed one year deals and are itching to bring success to the West End under the guidance of manager Stephen Swift and his assistants Michael Moore and Richie Salveta.

Gerard Traynor told us: “I’m delighted to be at BSC Glasgow for another year. The club is progressing and next year we’re going to be the club to be at. The new gaffer and his team have brought in a real sense of professionalism and I'm really happy to be part of it.”

Manager Stephen Swift said: “The boys have done really well since I took over at the club and their commitment to the club is something to we want to use and build on for next season. We’ve had some great results and obviously a Cup final to look forward to and that’s more positivity to take forward for next season.”

General Manager George Fraser said: “I am delighted that a lot of last season's players have decided to commit themselves to the club for next season, it shows we are going the right way. It also shows a belief in the new management team, and what they are trying to bring to the club. I have no doubt that with a few additions, the squad we will be as strong as we have ever had.

Of course there will be a few players leaving us, and I would like to thank them for their contribution over the last season, and wish them well in the future.”

Everyone at BSC Glasgow wishes the lads the best of luck for the new season and can’t wait to see them turn out in yellow again at The Indodrill in the 2017/18 Lowland League.
