BSC Glasgow vs Preston Athletic Preview

Preston Athletic visit the Indodrill Stadium this Saturday as BSC play hosts once again. Currently the bottom side in the Lowland League, the Prestonpans side will be looking to overtake Selkirk with a win to take them onto 10 points for the season.
A difficult run of fixtures has seen them fall behind the middle pack in the Lowland League, and Craig Nisbet’s side will be looking to kick-start their winter with an away victory in Alloa.
Mark Adams’ and his BSC side currently find themselves in tightly contested group. As the second half of the Lowland League season begins, the table is too close to call, with three points separating Whitehill Welfare in fifth and BSC in tenth.
With only 13 league games remaining including Saturday’s tie, BSC will be looking to turn some of their recent good performances into even better results and push on up the table to threaten the likes of East Stirlingshire in fourth place.
An extended spell of domination finally brought a goal for BSC last time out against Cumbernauld, as debutant Blair Lyons impressed going forward before picking up that late equaliser.
Preston forward Neil Shave will be looking to get revenge on Joe Wilton in the BSC goals, who thwarted him last time the side’s met as BSC returned to Glasgow with a point on the second matchday of the Lowland League season. Last April, BSC were victorious over Nisbet’s side, with Aidan Ferris getting two goals that day.
