Eddie Wolecki Black is New BSC Glasgow Under 20s Coach
BSC Glasgow have appointed former Airdrieonians boss Eddie Wolecki Black and Motherwell Academy coach Graeme McArthur to guide their Under-20s side until the end of the season.
Eddie and Graeme have been working with the squad alongside Director of Coaching Iain King.
Ex-Diamonds boss Eddie is battling back after suffering a major stroke in the dressing-room at half-time in his side’s 3-1 win at Cowdenbeath on March 5 last year.
He got back on the pitch at the recent BSC Glasgow Coaching Day and the UEFA Pro Licence coach said:
“I am just happy to be able to help out the Club and the I hope also the players.
“It feels great to be involved in training sessions and to be in the dugout again and we know we have a challenging task ahead of us.
“As I continue to recover Graeme and Iain have been out there on the pitch in training and I can advise and hopefully educate when we talk to the players tactically on the sidelines.”
For UEFA A Licence candidate Graeme this was a chance to enhance his football education working in tandem with a coach he respects hugely.
“I’m loving the chance to work alongside a coach with Eddie’s depth of knowledge and learning so much already.
“We have only had two weeks to work with the boys so far and we need a chance to properly assess the squad.
“The players who are here already will be given every chance to improve and prove themselves on the training field before we think about recruitment and building for the good of the club for next season.”
